One year of specialized experience which includes:
A. Assisting in the distribution of Donor Questionnaires ensuring timely completion; ensuring all expired reagents/controls are disposed of properly; reviewing daily, weekly, and quarterly maintenance on various donor center equipment to include apheresis equipment, automated analyzers, timers, centrifuges and thermometers OR B. Successfully completion of one full year graduate education or internship directly related to the work of this position. (must include a copy of transcripts). OR C. Less than one year of specialized experience as described in A, and I have less than one year of graduate-level education as described in B. I have computed the percentage of the requirements that I meet, and the total is at least 100%. (To compute the percentage, divide your total months of qualifying experience by 12. Then divide your semester hours of graduate education by 18. Add the two percentages.) (must include a copy of transcripts). GS-07:
One year of specialized experience which includes:
A. Distributing Donor Questionnaire to phlebotomists ensuring timely and correct completion; performing quality control procedures within various information systems such as LIS to include override error codes prior to the release of blood products; printing/organizing various reports to be submitted by supervisor and QA staff; ensuring whole blood units are inspected and handled appropriately according to established procedures. OR B. Successfully completed at least one full year of graduate level education (18 semester hours) from an accredited college or university that is directly related to the work of this position. (Note:
You must attach a copy of your transcripts.). OR C. I have less than one year of specialized experience as described in A, and I have less than one year of graduate-level education as described in B.
