Current permanent Army employee, position may be filled as a temporary promotion or temporary reassignment NTE (not-to-exceed). To meet the minimum qualifications for the GS-13 level, applicants must have one full year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level in the Federal service. Specialized experience is defined as experience with supporting emergency response events, reviews and analyzes logistics exercises, emergency deployments, contingency operations, and logistics lessons learned to identify logistics requirements. Experience with reviewing and determining military contingency logistics requirements and coordination with logistical contingency/emergency response issues. Experience with logistics supply program management and functional areas. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas:

Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-12). Physical Demands:
Work is primarily sedentary. However, maintaining the ability to deploy to a contingency event is a requirement of this duty position. The employee must have above average resistance to fatigue. On deployments and operational assignments will be required to adopt appropriate safety protection and equipment. Work Environment:
The work is normally performed in an office setting. Temporary and reoccurring duty travel may be required to include travel to a contingency location anywhere in the world on short or no notice which may require work to be performed on either a temporary or sustained basis in an austere field environment.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
