Provides technical assistance to managers concerning appropriated and nonappropriated fund budgeting. Ensures
the correct production of budgets and their execution including compliance with appropriate regulations, etc.
Reviews and analyzes financial reports to identify trends, working capital and the NAFI's financial position. Ensures
all individual budgets are coordinated, realistic and support long range planning. Consolidates budgets into a
single NAFI package.
Evaluates established internal policies, procedures and management controls to ensure adequacy. Monitors
compliance. Recommends changes and suggests solutions to managers.
Performs analyses of performa financial statements for proposed ventures; evaluates efficiency and effectiveness
of proposals; prepares/reviews return on investment schedules for capital projects; assists and guides managers
deciding on capital reinvestments.
Qualifications are:
1. Have work experience in interpreting and assessing program financial performance using standard financial management systems?
2. Have work experience in interpreting balance sheets and profit and loss statement results?
3. Have work experience in providing budget and financial projections?
4. Have work experience applying commercial budgeting techniques?
5. Have work experience in applying and understanding accounting principles?
6. Have knowledge of MWR Financial Management Systems: such as Financial Management Budget System, Standard Management Information Reports for Finance, NAF Data Query, Time and Labor Management System, Online Report Viewer, Standards NAF Automated Contracting System, as well as Microsoft Office Sute, and other systems requiring the application of commercial budgeting and accounting techniques?
Conditions of employment:

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
