Overview:
As the Range Enabler Support Specialist for the Pacific region, you will play a pivotal role in facilitating the successful execution of live-fire training exercises during Pacific Pathways.
Your multifaceted responsibilities encompass subject matter expertise, coordination, liaison tasks, and logistical support aimed at ensuring the safety, efficacy, and operational readiness of warranted training equipment.
Responsibilities:
Subject Matter Expertise:
Provide expert guidance to Commanders on the safe utilization of various ammunition types, demolitions, lasers, guided missiles, and rockets utilizing warranted training equipment.
Offer functional, technical, and administrative support for live-fire training operations during Pacific Pathways exercises involving warranted training equipment.
Compliance and Coordination:
Ensure compliance with required reports essential for supporting Pacific Pathways exercises as requested by USARPAC and supported units.
Coordinate logistical requirements for deploying and re-deploying warranted Target Training systems.
Collaborate with Range Staff and USARPAC to ensure a thorough understanding of CONOPs, SOPs, and plans related to Warranted Target Training Systems.
Planning and Execution:
Participate in Interim Progress Reports (IPC) Final Planning Conferences (FPC) in various Pacific locations, providing expertise on Warranted Target Systems.
Oversee the implementation of Range Safety Programs in accordance with AR 385-63 and DA PAM 385-63 for live-fire training using Warranted Target Systems.
Ensure completion of necessary materials, including CONOPS, Safety Danger Zones (SDZ), and Weapon Danger Zones (WPZ), using Range Managers Tool Kit (RMTK) for Warranted Target Systems.
Team Support and Management:
Ensure adequate staffing for Pacific Pathways exercises to provide comprehensive support for Warranted Target Systems.
Deploy with Warranted Target Systems when required to support setup, operation, and recovery phases.
Manage exercise event schedules, including submission of personnel information for logistics and funding purposes.
Logistics and Relationships:
Coordinate off-station equipment requests, manning assignments, and documentation for local and TDY exercises.
Assist Range Enabler Support Teams with SOPs, processes, training, and scheduling to optimize support for Warranted Target Systems.
Cultivate strong relationships between Range Enabler Support Teams and key customers within Red Talon Group Corporation.
Adherence and Accountability:
Adhere to Joint Publications, DoD regulations, local laws, national regulations, and customs.
Serve as a liaison between Range Enabler Support Team and Red Talon Group Corporation, ensuring seamless employee support.
Monitor and maintain Company equipment, ensuring adherence to maintenance schedules.
Documentation and Reporting:
Ensure accurate and timely completion of all reports to Red Talon Group Corporation, verifying and submitting them by specified deadlines.
Conduct thorough inventories and verifications before submitting reports.
Timely submission of pay and time charts.
Additional Support:
Provide support to the client for any related needs as requested.
Your role is integral to the success of Pacific Pathways exercises, contributing expertise, coordination, and logistical support to ensure safe and effective live-fire training with warranted training equipment.
