Sr. VTC Technician

Summary The Sr.
VTC Technician shall be responsible for daily management of site VTC and Conference Room systems such as scheduling VTC with external sites, problem resolution, and configuring rooms to meet requirements for scheduled conferences.
Responsibilities Perform video capturing and transfers video to a media streaming server.
Perform troubleshooting of VTC and conference room equipment and executes repair or initiate trouble ticket to the appropriate office for support of components and connections external to the site VTC system.
Perform routine performance testing to ensure VTC and other conference room equipment computer workstations operate at optimal performance and capacity.
Resolve system operational problems by troubleshooting and performing fault isolation.
Schedule AV/VTC sessions, maintains a call schedule, and coordinate reservations and scheduling of AV/VTC services with outside agencies for executive-level users.
Perform setups, tests, adjustments, operations, and shutdowns of equipment in support of AV/VTC/Presentation sessions.
Provide client training and training on control, interfaces, and use of the audio/visual and VTC equipment.
Act as equipment custodian and perform inventory asset management and accountability functions.
Conduct site surveys to establish AV/VTC Systems and equipment customer requirements.
Draft Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for VTC operations.
Troubleshoot systems failures and accessibility problems Monitor system performance and track usage.
Develop and deliver a trend analysis of system load, usage, and response.
Perform system security functions (including system security plans).
Operate (schedule, facilitate) and maintain SBU and SECRET common-user VTC Studio; provide interface access for VTC and secure telephone equipment; provide design and installation advice and technical support.
Operate and maintain a VTC Bridge (switch) within the common-user VTC suite to allow multiple sessions and multiple users per session.
Train other information technology professionals.
Complete annual company and customer training requirements according to established policies and procedures.
Record labor hours daily in an online corporate system.
Other duties as assigned Qualifications BA/BS degree and 5
years of relevant work experience are required.

years of supervisory/managerial experience.
Computer Environment and Security
IAT Level II certifications required.
Must be a U.
S.
citizen.
TS/SCI required.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Supervisory/managerial experience commensurate with the position requirements.
Working knowledge and experience configuring Tandberg/Cisco Codecs.
Understanding of basic networking.
Working knowledge and experience configuring Tandberg/Cisco Codecs.
Experience with multi-security classified and unclassified IP video teleconferencing.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook.
Must have the ability to communicate with others effectively both orally and in writing.
Must have the ability to attend all customer in-person meetings and conferences as requested.
Ability to multi-task in a high-stress, performance-based environment.
Ability to establish priorities and meet established deadlines.
Maintain a high level of integrity and accountability.
Possess strong problem-solving and leadership skills.
Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Ability to travel CONUS and OCONUS up to 10% as required.
