Amentum is seeking a dedicated Unified Communications (UC) Systems Engineer supporting US Army Pacific (USARPAC) at Fort Shafter, Hawaii. We are pipelining candidates for a future role. You thrive in handling the development, integration, operations and maintenance of our voice / video communications systems, focused on the Army's Unified Capabilities Architecture. Responsibilities:
Serve as expert in all UC aspects and will provide management and troubleshooting of VoIP Call managers, multipoint control unit (MCU's), and Telepresence Servers within the Command and Control Facility (C2F). Provide guidance and network administration on configurations and perform diagnostics on the building infrastructure; voice / video and IP systems architecture. Provide expertise in configuration, management and viability of primary switches, all remote nodes, analog and digital components, and various communications devices. Coordinate requirements in conjunction with Network Enterprise Center (NEC) and Regional Cyber Center (RCC), as necessary, to resolve failures of application, hardware, interfaces and networks. Interact and coordinate requirements with Government POCs and other service providers and interface with senior management. Submit Capability Request (CAPR) work orders to the 30th NEC for all IP Management. Provisioning of IP Address space Sub netting, when required. Provide expertise in configuration, management and viability of primary switches, all remote nodes, analog and digital components, and various. Communications devices required for transport of voice and data traffic across the long-distance voice/data network systems. Implement and integrate new systems hardware and software and develops operating procedures, monitors the ongoing operation of a complex network environment. Minimum Requirements Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent work experience) At least 7 years recent experience working with Unified Communications (UC) Environment supporting integration and Operations and Maintenance (O&M) Current Security
certification Knowledgeable and capable of performing all work necessary to plan, design, develop, document, test, implement, integrate, maintain, and/or coordinate modification of the voice / video communications systems as part of the Army's Unified Capabilities (UC) Architecture, at the USARPAC C2F and other USARPAC Staff locations Experience managing IT projects Due to the nature of the work, must be a U.S. citizen Must have an active Secret security clearance Preferred Qualifications CCNA CISSP
Salary Range:
$100K -- $150K
Minimum Qualification
System & Network Administration, Systems Architecture & EngineeringEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
